north on the Old Seward Highway, The Dimond Center, Anchorage's largest mall,
offers shopping, dining and recreational
activities.
Located
nearby are other
popular shopping
and dining opportunities, ranging from
fast food to fine cuisine. Just ask, we
will be happy to offer suggestions.

just 20 minutes away via the New Seward Highway,
provides additional shopping, as
well as museums, theaters and events.
A few minutes further north is the
Alaska Native Heritage Center.
Also close by is the
Alaska Zoo. And only a few miles south,
Potter's
Marsh gives visitors a look at wildlife in the
Chugach State Park. You may even see a moose
wander through our yard during your stay at the
Teddy Bear House!

days when you want to take a break from
your travels, you will enjoy the comforts
we provide at the Teddy Bear House.
We serve a
full or continental breakfast of fresh
fruits, breads, hot and cold cereals, and
beverages each morning. With advance
notice, we can accommodate any special
dietary needs you may have.
The
living and dining areas are available for
your use. The living room is equipped
with cable TV and a VCR which may be
shared with other guests until midnight.
We
also have a large outdoor
deck, which is perfect for summer
barbecues!
